SolarWorld AG’s
Sunmodule Plus® range of photovoltaic solar panels are produced in
Germany in SolarWorld's state-of-the-art,
fully automated production plants, which meet the highest possible
quality standards.
Performance
SolarWorld’s unique plus-sort system ensures higher efficiency and
better performance. Panels are performance tested, and the modules are
graded in 5 watt intervals and labelled. Only those modules that
demonstrate the nominal power as a minimum are delivered.
Guarantee
SolarWorld AG is the world’s first solar company to
offer a linear performance guarantee. SolarWorld guarantees that the
power of a new module will only deviate by a maximum of 3% from the
nominal power during the first year, and that this power will not
decrease by more than 0.7 percent per year thereafter.
For example this
guarantees performance at 95.6 percent in the third year – clear added value compared to standard
guarantees, which promise only 90 percent and can even drop to 80 percent after
ten years. SolarWorld also offers a five-year extended product warranty,
which goes well beyond the two years required by law. This way, our warranties provide double protection for our
customers’ investments.

first 25 year linear power warranty.

SolarWorld maintains a

Electrical connections
SolarWorld's patented, flat, compact junction box,
which has sold more than 4,000,000 units, guarantees maximum safety. The
junction box has welded connections which ensure a reliable electrical
connection and provide protection against corrosion. The rapid heat dissipation
capability provides optimum temperature consistency.
